In addition to being one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, during his illustrious career Richie has garnered numerous awards including an Oscar®, a Golden Globe®, four Grammy Awards®, the distinction of MusicCares Person of the Year in 2016 and an honoree of the Kennedy Center in 2017. Richie was a judge on “American Idol" last season and returns to the judge’s chair this season. In April 2016, he launched his headlining Las Vegas residency show, Lionel Richie—All the Hits, at The Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. His residency featured his brightest and best anthems and after the multi-year run, the highly successful Vegas show wrapped in October 2018.
