Valencia College is seeking a Professor of Cardiovascular Technology - Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist - to join our dedicated, passionate faculty team as a full-time, tenure appointment beginning Fall 2019. We are seeking someone willing to fully engage in all aspects of classroom and clinical instruction. Turn your hands-on years of experience in the clinical setting into preparing the next generation of health care professionals. The preferred candidate will have at least five years of clinical experience and experience supporting students as a preceptor or instructor.

Degree/Credential Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in a health-related field or education (required); Cardiovascular Technology or Cardiopulmonary Science (preferred).
  • Cardiac catheterization clinical experience (preferred)
  • Current credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).

Salary: Full-Time Faculty positions are compensated based on the Full Time Faculty Salary Schedule.

Work Hours: Teaching assignments may include day, night, or weekend classes.
