Description
The Peace and Justice Institute of Valencia College, Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, Orange County Health Department, along with partners and sponsors, invite you to a conference, Creating a Resilient Community: From Trauma to Healing on April 3rd, 2019.
The day includes a keynote address from Dr. Vince Felitti, the chief researcher of the ACEs study. The conference will further provide the opportunity for multiple stakeholder groups to discuss action plans for moving toward a resilient community. The stakeholder groups include: Health/Medical, Education, Business, Criminal Justice/Judicial/First Responders, Government/Public Sector and Civic/Faith/Non-Profit.
All members of the community are invited to attend.Doors open at 8:00 am for registration, coffee, tea and connecting. Lunch, coffee, dessert and afternoon snacks are included in the registration fee.
