Epoxi Countertops and Floors Workshop

Description

Constructors will have a hands-on course, with the intention that each student will get to mix, pour, and experience the use of Epoxy before installing it for your customer. You will get to learn a Step by Step on how to use epoxy resin to make existing concrete and smooth surfaces look like wood, granite, marble, shiny and so much more.

The Epoxy Countertops & Floors Workshop have a 5-hour duration. Materials & lunch are included. This workshop is intended for surfaces who didn’t exceed 1/8” (one eighth of an inch).

We will go over how to do the following: 

1. Basic Concepts

Learn how to communicate with suppliers & understand the clients needs, upon Epoxy correct terms.

2. Security Measures & Procedures

Types of aprons and its benefits depending on materials. Gloves, security glasses, having access to a resin kit’s safety data sheets (SDS) and other safety precautions.

3. How to prepare Floors & Countertops

Remodel or create your own stunning epoxy countertops. Professional Instructors will guide you on techniques, and what epoxy resin products will work for your DIY or professional epoxy countertops and/or floors.

4. How to use the products

Learn the basics of playing a mixing area, properly mixing epoxy parts, setting up the surface until it becomes smooth, and how to apply self-leveling epoxy resin with the right tools.

5. Mixing

Identify when to use each epoxy resin type, the application process and learn how to combine them.

6. Samples: Create your own!

Create your own designs, showcasing them on your social platforms. (Don’t forget to mention @Gypsum Board Institute.)

7. Market your Epoxy Business

Upon completion you will have the necessary knowledge to master the art of epoxy and we will combine it with marketing and sales techniques to generate leads, converting them into customers. We will also teach you referral campaigns to generate more potential customers.
