Description
The Hispanic Economic Summit is a research-centric event that will present information about the magnitude of the Island's population displacement to the mainland, particularly to Florida, as a result of the ongoing economic downturn, as well as the more recent disaster provoked by Hurricane Maria. This Summit will also assess the economic impact of the Puerto Rican presence in Central Florida, especially through the continuing expansion of Puerto Rican-owned businesses in the last few decades.
