Food for Thought
Exclusively for "Creative Homeschoolers" Home School families
January 8, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
When you ate breakfast this morning did you stop to consider the source of the food you ate? Have you ever wondered who the first people to eat carrots were? Or how about peanuts? We will have fun considering the history of some of the food we grow and you will be challenged to consider where some of your favorite foods come from. We will also be treated to a tour of the vegetable garden with the Director of Leu Gardens, Robert Bowden, our resident vegetable expert.
Home School classes are priced for one adult and up to two children to attend. The classes are primarily geared for 8 to 12 year olds. (Younger children may attend but the parent should be prepared to help them with certain activities.)
