This tour with Olin Library’s Director Deborah Prosser will highlight archival materials, first editions, and original manuscripts and photographs from the William Sloane Kennedy Memorial Collection of Whitmaniana on display alongside contemporary works of art. In the context of Whitman’s bicentennial, his enduring legacy is examined in light of his impact on contemporary artists.
