On Monday, June 8 at 3 p.m., U.S. Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy of Winter Park, Fla., will host a virtual Spanish-Language Town Hall to discuss the unique challenges faced by the Hispanic community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Murphy will be joined by Father Jose Rodriguez of Iglesia Episcopal Jesús de Nazaret, Gaby Ortigoni of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Orlando, and local health experts. Murphy and her guests will answer questions from constituents about the health and economic impacts they face due to the global pandemic. Hispanics and other minority communities have experienced disproportionate cases of COVID-19 in Central Florida and across the country. Murphy is using this virtual town hall as an opportunity to engage with Spanish-speaking constituents and listen to their concerns.
